Experimenting with textures and effects intrigue me. My paintings are studies in textures and movement that invite the viewer to look beneath the layers & Layers of cool, peaceful colors. My intent is to create a healing calm energy while stimulating the imagination.
My style has been a ling time coming! It has been a progression of love & commitment to painting. Having majored in fine art, I was a drawer for most of my life. Acrylics are a tough medium, but a unique medium, so diverse, especially if one is drawn to experimenting.
For the past 18 years I have devoted my time & energy to "playing" with acrylic paint and many mediums. I am now at a place where I am happy with my style and intend to stay on this path.
